Barack Obama任命的經濟顧問委員會主席羅默（Christina Romer），日前開出的藥方是「增加政府支出」及「減稅」，這和凱因斯寫給當時美國總統羅斯福的公開信，建議治療一九三○年代經濟大蕭條的方法「透過借貸而非對現有的所得課稅，以融通政府支出，來增加全國消費力」相同
